Dark Chocolate

Dark Chocolate is a deep brown shade with a warm base, intended for use on clients with darker brows and brown or black hair. The shade allows for a more defined, deeper pigmentation while maintaining control over color tonality.

The pigment provides a stable, saturated effect in a dark brown tone, without unintended cooling of the color after healing. The warm base supports a natural brow appearance and prevents gray healing, even when working with higher intensity.

Dark Chocolate can be used on its own or as a mixing pigment. When combined with Medium Brown, it allows for the creation of a wide range of intermediate brown shades, adjusted to skin type, hair color, and the desired treatment outcome.

Like the other pigments in The Pigment line, Dark Chocolate has a neutral and universal character. The entire line has been developed with work flexibility, color mixing capability, and predictable, stable healed results in mind.

Composition, base and pigment behavior

Dark Chocolate pigment has been developed based on a water–glycol carrier system with the inclusion of glycerin, which ensures formulation stability and full control during pigmentation. This base system allows for predictable pigment behavior in the skin, even when working with darker, more saturated tones.

The PVP binder stabilizes the dispersion of colorants and limits their migration in the skin after implantation. In practice, this results in even pigment deposition and healed results consistent with the effect visible during the procedure, without uncontrolled color deepening.

In the Dark Chocolate formula, Carbon Black (CI 77266) plays a key role in building color depth; however, it is present in a strictly controlled amount and precisely balanced with red and yellow colorants. As a result, the pigment maintains warmth and neutrality of brown without the risk of gray or cool healing.

The formula allows for controlled saturation build-up, both when used alone and in mixtures with Medium Brown. Healed results are stable and predictable, and the color maintains a consistent character both immediately after the procedure and over time.

Dark Chocolate pigment is suitable for use on all skin types: dry, normal, oily, and mature.
