Each sheet is composed of:
• Top layer (white): the surface onto which the design is transferred.
• Protective layer (transparent/milky): separates the carbon layer and is usually discarded.
• Carbon layer (violet/blue): releases color onto the top layer when pressure is applied.
• Bottom layer (yellow): keeps the sheet stable during thermal printing. Should be removed if required in the printer user's manual.
